Bill joined Truebyte as an operations expert in September 2020, with the purpose of improving processes, planning, client relations and internal communications. The role has evolved over time, with many additional responsibilities, leading to his promotion to Head of Operations within the annual appraisal process last year.
Bill, can you give us a brief overview of your background?
I have a background in delivering operational excellence across marketing, loyalty solutions before moving into IT services and software development. Driving continuous improvement through development and maximisation of people and systems, establishing strong client relations through transparency and integrity.
What do you like about working at Truebyte?
The ‘people first’ ethos fostered within the business. We have a team that have a uniquely consistent and exceptional work ethic, which would be the envy of many a business, this stems from the business caring about the team and in turn the team wanting to succeed in helping the business achieve its long-term goals.
What do you enjoy doing when you’re not working?
My primary hobby is supporting Arsenal, travelling up and down the country with friends.
What is the most satisfying aspect of your role?
The main part of my role that gives me job satisfaction is taking a person from point A to point B and knowing that I was a major factor in making this happen, through training, development and completion of short, medium and long term development plans.

As a business we have evolved significantly in my time here, with exciting and ambitious plans to expand and develop within our ever-changing progressive industry. Who has influenced you most when it comes to how you approach your work?
My primary career mentor to this point was Kerry Sadler, the former Operations Director within my previous employment. She saw the potential in me and allowed me to grow from a telesales person through to a Head of Operations within a few years, following in her footsteps and eventually assuming her responsibilities.
