Last week the students from St Catherine’s College, who we have been supporting, presented at the Your Town Engineers final pitch event. We have supported them as local Software Development Engineers to help them form a solid foundation for their concept of a cycle app.
Their vision is for the app to encourage cycling in Eastbourne, to get more students on their bikes and increase reporting on cycle route safety issues.
Tom and Stu attended the event and were impressed with the student’s clarity and with how they communicated their passion for the idea.
We are looking forward to continuing the conversation with representatives for transport at East Sussex County Council and hopefully seeing this project become a reality!
