The Star, The Polizzi Collection

The Star, based in Alfriston, East Sussex, is the latest addition to the Polizzi Collection of hotels.

Located at the heart of this medieval village, The Star’s 16th century frontage and ancient beamed bar, opens straight off the high street. Behind it is a small library and large restaurant, with a newly formed courtyard at the center of the hotel.

Requirements

The Star, housed in a mixture of new and old buildings, has been rebuilt, with new roofs, new wooden windows, and its 30 bedrooms and bathrooms all remodelled and newly decorated. A centrally administered wireless infrastructure was required for connectivity for guests and staff internet access.

The Solution

Truebyte are installing wireless access points around the hotel including sensitive heritage areas to provide strong and reliable WiFi coverage. An office environment has been implemented for hotel management, housing administration staff and systems. A leased line has been installed, providing fast, reliable internet in a local area that has poor network coverage.
